WISDOM PANEL DNA TEST:

We are very excited about being able to offer the Wisdom Panel DNA test!  If you have a mixed breed dog and want to know what breeds your pet is made up of – here is your chance!   It involves a blood test and takes about 3-4 weeks to get the results back.  Along with the test, you will get an in-depth conference with a veterinarian regarding the results.  You will receive a brochure that tells what breeds make up your pet; the background of those breeds; and the personality of each breed.  The veterinarian who reviews your case with you will also go over any potential health problems associated with those breeds.

Here are the DNA results:

Scout – Scout’s ancestry includes Portuguese Water Dog; Saint Bernard, and Siberian Husky.  He also has a trace amount of Chow Chow and Old English Sheepdog.

Kinsler -  Kinsler’s ancestry includes Boston Terrier.  The trace amounts in Kinsler’s background includes Dachshund, German Shepherd, Labrador Retriever, and Staffordshire Bull Terrier.
